A mother is a mother still, the holiest thing alive. Always loving: always loved. God bless thee wheresoe'er thouart in his great universe today. God called her from among us to a home of eternal rest. God took her home, it was his will, but in our hearts she liveth still. God's greatest gift returned to God - my mother. Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture dignity and love. Her children arise up and call her blessed. Her friends were her world. Her friendship was an inspiration, her love a blessing. Her memory is enshrined in our hearts. May God grant you eternal rest, dear Mother. O, Lord, I put her in thy hands. Resting with those she loved. She concealed her tears but shared her smiles. She gave so much and demanded so little. She had a kindly word for each and she died beloved by all. She is resting peacefully with Jesus in that beautiful home above. She loved people and laughter. Death is the golden key that opens the palace of Eternity. Death's but a path to be trod if man would ever pass to God. Dust thou art, to dust returnest, was not spoken of the soul. Each lonely scene shall thee restore. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Every man's life is a plan of God. Faith builds a bridge across the gulf of death. Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak whispers to the o'erfraught heart and bids it break. God gives us love. Something to love, He lends us. God is and is well. He hath awakened from the dream of life. Heaven, the treasury of everlasting joy. His daily prayer, far better understood in acts than words, was simply doing good. Humble love, and not proud science, keeps the door of Heaven. In His will is our peace. Joy, joy, forever! - My task is done - the gates are pass'd, and heaven is won. Life's a voyage that's homeward bound. Mercy to him that shows it, is the rule. Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Not lost to memory! Not lost to love! But gone to our Father's house, above. Ours for a little while, with Jesus forever. Rest in Peace. Rest is thine, sweet memory ours. Step softly, a dream lies buried here. Sweetly sleeping. The song is ended, but the melody lingers on. To live in the hearts of those we love is to never die. Too well loved to ever be forgotten. Until we meet again. What we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever. Your love will light my way, your memory will forever be with me.
